A nightly clean maintains a building; it does not reset one. Traffic lanes in carpet, grout going dark in a restroom, dust on the tops of partitions and light diffusers, scuffed baseboards along a corridor — none of that is a nightly task, and all of it builds until the space looks tired regardless of how well the nightly contract runs. This is the scheduled reset: machine floor work, high-level dusting, and the detail that only makes sense with the building empty.
